At the close of the Civil War, facing new lives as freed men, the soldiers of the 62nd and 65th Colored Infantries saw an opportunity for personal growth and were eager to learn reading, writing and other basic skills from Lt. Richard Baxter Foster.  Please thoughtfully consider joining us for a special tribute during our 150th Sesquicentennial year on Saturday, April 16, 2016 in Jason Hall on the beautiful Lincoln University campus.  Doors open at 5:00 PM.
